Aged to Perfection

“A Journey Through the History of Wine”

Today (1.11.2024) I have started this Open Philately -exhibition collection about wine from scratch.

Given my current profession as a wine writer (17 wine books published) and critic, it’s only natural that I am eager to create an Open Philately exhibition collection centered around wine. The goal is to assemble an 8-frame collection with at least 90 points. I plan to complete this collection in time for the 2025 national exhibition, with aspirations to present it on international stages. I will post completed pages on this site as they become available—the collection will span from the 1200s to the present day. It will feature many "gems," such as a letter sent in 1251 concerning the purchase of a Burgundy vineyard.

This collection, as said, is one of my newest collection and the one I am building at the moment, it includes the years from 1250 to 2000. My target is 8 frames.

I will add them here, one at the time, as soon as I am able to finalize them.
