“Philately is for me a way to dive into the depths of history or various themes and, once I've resurfaced, to create something new through philately! According to many of my colleagues, I'm considered a "lazy" exhibition philatelist because I don't pursue perfection in my collections. Instead of spending decades perfecting a single or few collections, I prefer to use the same amount of time to build twenty or more, different exhibition collections. I'm curious about everything and eager to learn from as many areas of life as possible, and philately is one of the best tool for that. I encourage enthusiasts to boldly embrace new themes rather than sticking to the old ones and to create new history!”

My journey started, as with most philatelists, as a child. I have been collecting stamps since childhood, to varying degrees. In the early nineties, while living in London, I became interested in exhibition activities and my first collection of exhibits was about ship mail between England and Australia in 1805-1905 - at its best it reached 85 points and second was Ballon Monte, The Aerial Mail Of The Siege Of Paris (1870-1872), which received 88 points..

I took a long break from exhibitions from the early 2000s and it wasn’t until a few years ago that I started building serious collections again. Numerous exhibition collections are now done or under construction, some of which are presented on this site more or less ready-made.

I update this site almost daily and hopefully building my collections in such a prominent way will also help and encourage other philatelists with their own collections.
